In some scenarios putting the correct businesses together can improve the multiple we use to appraise the businesses. For example, if we merged two businesses together each with a multiple of 3, the joint entity may have a multiple of 4 on the combined cash surplus, creating instant additional equity in your business

 

I work with businesses to help identify what the right acquisition looks like, as it needs to something where the industry is understood, potentially managed, is a financially fit and hopefully something where the companies are more profitable together than apart, and of course a good cultural fit just to mention a few.
